 The planning, estimating and cost baseline capability has continued to be developed to maintain competitive advantage through application of best practice in methods, tools and techniques.  This extension of Project Controls migrates into a broader project services role and is focused on the following project processes:

These services are focused for two specific requirements:

  • Project Support Office:  Selected or full project controls and services functions as augmentation to owner's team capacity, with project integration and EPCM oversight capability
  • Project Management Team:  Core project management functions to extend client capability, including the following roles; project manager, project controller, cost manager, chief estimator, senior planner, project risk manager, project quality manager.  This core project management team would implement the projectmanagement framework, establish the project information management system, and provide the project management capability to the client.

The PaCE Project Support and Management functions are provided as autonomous operational entities within an existing technology supply environment.  The client remains responsible for engineering, procurement and construction capabilities.
