Planning and Cost Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd, (or PaCE Services as we are informally known as), are specialist consultants in the art and science of estimating and controlling the cost, schedule and performance aspects of capital projects.

Our mission is to provide our clients with high quality project control services using the best available tools, to ensure that their projects are successful by meeting set goals and targets.  This can be achieved by our direct involvement in projects on a day to day basis, our training client personnel in project control disciplines or by providing the relevant computer software and support services.

PaCE Services was established as a close corporation by its founding member Nicholas D. Bennett in March 1984, to provide project planning and cost engineering services, utilising the knowledge and experience he had gained in these fields over the preceding twelve years whilst working mainly in the engineering industry.

Subsequently, with the increased demand from client organisations for better project controls, a number of organisations in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Richards Bay have made use of our services as well as projects as far afield as Hawaii, Mauritius, Malaysia, Swaziland and, most recently, Ghana.

With the growth in the Company and in line with our mission to best meet our clients’ needs, our head office was moved to Johannesburg in January 2003, whilst still retaining our branch office in Durban.  The Company was converted to a limited proprietary in 2004.
